I've read five maybe of the travel series books so far. This was not my favorite. It wasn't bad just kind of slow in the beginning. I had it all figured out pretty quickly... well... until I didn't. I didn't see THAT coming. So that was kind of fun. But it was slower paced. The moral of the story and there are always morals or psych analysis snuck in her books.. is that big question and the answer depends I guess on how old you are, where you are in your life, what you've been through.. is do I take safe and comfortable but blah or do I throw it all to the wind and go a little crazy and feel alive, even if I don't end up in a good spot? Guess that makes me think sometimes on how you want to do it.Nice descriptions of all the scenery, hotels and everything including details. That is a consistent feature too in her books.
I must say my mini peeve was that the week after I bought the book, it was free! Grrr. Not that it wasn't worth the small price, but still.
I do say this book had quite a few editing errors. It had missed letters, saying her instead of here. Things like that. Some others along those lines but there were far more than is typical of Belinda's work. She rarely has any that stand out, but this book has many.
Still waiting for the apostrophes to be quotes for dialogue but I get more used to it each book
.
I will eventually read them all. I enjoy them and the characters situations and psychological encounters. Now if she would write some stories about non 20-30 years old as we are all getting a bit older...

Paradise Room Belinda Jones 9780099445524 Books Reviews
Another enjoyable travel-themed book by Belinda Jones. I didn't have any problem with the main character's ethics in this book - it is possible to be attracted to someone else when you're already in a relationship. I won't go into details because that would spoil the story, but I don't think Amber stepped over any lines, she realized what was going on and did things the right way.
This wasn't my favorite LoveTravel book, but it was a fun read just the same - well worth a long afternoon on the beach with a cocktail or two!
Amber Pepper has never been a fan of tropical vacations. When her boyfriend, Hugh, is sent to Tahiti on business, he convinces Amber to join him and she agrees, only for a chance to see her best friend from New Zealand who will travel and meet them on Bora Bora. On a trip to a nightclub, Amber becomes enamoured with one of the stars of a dancing show and can't get him out of her mind. He seems to be feeling the same way about her, quickly catapulting Amber into treacherous moral ground. While her life with Hugh is comfortable, she has never felt this same spark with him. Can Amber remain faithful to Hugh and keep away from her newfound crush or is this the chance to change the course of her life and get what she really wants?
I have loved all of the other books I have read by Belinda Jones, but this one didn't inspire the same feelings. The others are more of an innocent romance or vacation fling type story, while the issue of Amber considering cheating on Hugh put me off her new romance a bit. While Hugh was not the most likeable of characters, he wasn't entirely a villain either, which is I guess at the center of Amber's moral dilemma, but still managed to be slightly off-putting. An ok beach read, but not quite up to the standard of some of her other books. Try I Love Capri or Cafe Tropicana instead.
Great and funny read. Very well written.
Good beach time read. Many lols
This book was so enjoyable to read! Reading and learning about Tahiti and Gaugin while following along with Amber's adventures in following her heart definitely kept my interest and made the book hard to put down.
I really enjoyed Belinda Jones writing style and this is the third book of hers which I have read. Easy and enjoyable read to destinations across the globe with romance thrown in. When reading her books if feels like you know the characters,, as if they are your friends and you are living the adventure alongside them.
